Warriors Academy of Martial Arts
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Established in September 2007 at the Barneveld Congregational United Church of Christ, Warriors Academy of Martial Arts originated in the basement under the guidance of Master Chuck Lovelace, mentored by Grand Master Guy Lee Fields. Within the initial six months, our academy experienced significant growth, expanding from five to thirty-five students and three programs. This rapid development prompted relocation to a larger facility to better serve our students.
In 2018, Master William Booth assumed leadership, upholding our school's foundation rooted in traditional beliefs and values. We actively cultivate a positive and structured environment, expressing these principles in every aspect of our teachings. Now situated in downtown Mount Horeb at 132 East Main St., our new location accommodates additional programs such as, Brazilian Jujitsu, Self-Defense, Kickboxing, seminars, and personalized training, offering a comprehensive martial arts experience.

TENETS OF TAE KWON DO
Courtesy (Ye Ui). To be thoughtful and considerate of others. Tae Kwon Do students (both students and instructors) should be polite, and show consideration for others.
Integrity (Yom Chi). Integrity describes how you should interact with others. To be honest and good, earn respect and trust.
Perseverance (In Nae). This basically stands for your internal drive. Challenges allow us to improve ourselves and should therefore not be avoided.
Self-Control (Guk Ki). To have control of your body and mind. A Tae Kwon Do student should practice controlling his actions and reactions.
Indomitable Spirit (Baekjool Boolgool). To have courage in the face of adversity. A Tae Kwon Do student should never be dominated by, or have his spirit broken by another.
